This basement kitchen hadn’t been touched since the early 70’s and was in need of an update. In order to save on some cost we kept the upper cabinets and added open shelving with large subway tile in a 1/3 offset to give it a more modern look. The bold teal brings some color and brightness to the walnut cabinets and walls.

A kitchen with wooden cabinets, beige countertops, a double sink, and a built-in oven. There is a window with curtains, a square ceiling light fixture, and an island with a beige top and dark wood base.
